When is the Beacon Awards gala?

The 11th annual Beacon Awards will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 10 at WoodWinds in Branford, CT. Doors open for cocktail hour at 6 p.m.

Where is the Beacon Awards gala?

This year’s event is being held at WoodWinds. WoodWinds is located at 29 Schoolground Road in Branford.

Is there a dress code? What should I wear?

The Beacon Awards is a gala event. We encourage you to don your favorite red-carpet, awards show-worthy attire. Black ties are welcome, but not required. It’s your night to shine! Let’s get fancy!

My friends and family want to attend. How do they get tickets?

Tickets are $70 each and are on sale through Thursday, Sept. 28. They may be purchased in any quantity (even entire tables of 10) at www.beaconawardsct.com/tickets.

Do I need a ticket?

As a Beacon Award winner, you will receive one free ticket to the Beacon Awards! No need to reserve anything. We’ve got you covered!

Will my friends and family get to sit near me?

Yes! We will do everything we can to ensure your cheering section is seated near you. When your friends order their tickets, please ask them to note that they’re coming to support your well-deserved win and we’ll make sure to seat them nearby!

My friends and family are having difficulty ordering tickets via the PayPal checkout/tickets webpage. Can you help?

What should I expect at this year’s gala event?

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and some light entertainment followed by a sit-down dinner. The Class of 2023 will be introduced via video and awards will be presented.

What’s for dinner?

Great question! You get your choice of Stuffed Filet of Sole, Chicken Parmigiana, and Honey Roasted Portobello Mushroom. Please email your meal choice to Jackie Nardone at j.nardone@theday.com by Sept. 28 so we can reserve your dinner selection. Wine will be on the tables with dinner and a cash bar will be on hand.

What do you need from me?

We ask all of our Beacon Award winners to sit down for a short interview for a video that will be shown at the gala. If you haven’t already scheduled your appointment, please email Laura Robida as soon as possible at l.robida@shorepublishing.com. Other than that? We just need you to attend the gala and accept your award!
