When is the Beacon Awards gala?

The ninth annual Beacon Awards will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at WoodWinds in Branford, CT. Doors open for cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m.

Where is the Beacon Awards gala?

This year’s event is being held at WoodWinds. WoodWinds is located at 29 Schoolground Road in Branford.

Is there a dress code? What should I wear?

The Beacon Awards is a gala event. We encourage you to don your favorite red-carpet, awards show-worthy attire. Black ties are welcome, but not required. It’s your night to shine! Let’s get fancy!

My friends and family want to attend. How do they get tickets?

Tickets are $55 each and are on sale through Friday, Oct. 29. They may be purchased in any quantity (even entire tables of 8) at

Do I need a ticket?

As a Guest of Honor, you will receive one free ticket to the Beacon Awards! No need to reserve anything. We’ve got you covered!

Will my friends and family get to sit near me?

Yes! We will do everything we can to ensure your cheering section is seated near you. When your friends order their tickets, please ask them to note that they’re coming to support your well-deserved win and we’ll make sure to seat them nearby!

What should I expect at this year’s gala event?

The 2021 Beacon Awards are being held to honor and recognize the Beacon Awards Class of 2021. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 5:30 p.m. and some light entertainment followed by a sit-down dinner. The Class of 2021 will be introduced via video and awards will be presented. Members of the Class of 2020, our Guests of Honor, will be briefly introduced and their awards will be presented.

What about COVID-19? Are you taking any special precautions?

We understand that COVID-19 and its variants are still causing concern for many in our communities, and we want everyone to feel safe at the ninth annual Beacon Awards. We are working with WoodWinds to ensure the health and safety of everyone in attendance. At this time we do not have specific COVID-19 protocols in place, but will provide guidance as the event nears.
