Leslie Strauss of Chester is involved in the student-school theater program as well as the financial, acting, producing, and supporting aspects of her local theater program. She also serves local music programs as a music teacher, performer, and supporter. She is active in Planning & Zoning, design commissions, merchant associations, the local Chamber of Commerce, and fundraisers for numerous local organizations.
